5.1 Website visitors
The non-personally identifiable information collected as per clause 4.1 will be used to monitor website traffic and usage for security purposes and to gauge the interest generated by the web pages and services on display.
This information is shared with Google and Afrihost.
5.2 Contacting us
JaWiSoft BCD (Pty) Ltd will use the information you provide when contacting us to: respond to your query; identify and research your business to determine its requirements and capabilities; and provide you with a proposed service contract.
We may share your information with our contracted specialists to better understand your requirements and what will be required to fulfil it.
If you send us an unsolicited email, message or call that does not relate to the use of our services, you agree that we may provide your contact details to our internet and telecommunication service provider(s) in order to blacklist you to ensure the efficient functioning of our communication channels.

7.1 Request for copy of personal information in our possession
To request a copy of your personal information in possession of JaWiSoft BCD (Pty) Ltd, contact the Information Officer at legal@jawisoftbcd.com.
Please note that requests for a copy of your personal information in possession of JaWiSoft BCD (Pty) Ltd will incur an administration fee of R500 excluding Value Added Tax that must be paid upfront. We do not mine for or buy client data and the only personal information of you that will be in our possession will be the personal information you provided to us, and may also include personal information you have published publicly (e.g. website). Thus you should already know what personal information we would possess of you.
7.2 Request for correction of personal information in our possession
If you notice an error in your personal information in possession of JaWiSoft BCD (Pty) Ltd, you may respond to the communication containing the error and request the correction thereof.

7.3 Request for deletion of personal information in our possession
To request the deletion of your personal information in possession of JaWiSoft BCD (Pty) Ltd, contact the Information Officer at legal@jawisoftbcd.com.
Please note that personal information that we cannot link to you, e.g. IP address, cannot be deleted. Personal information that has to be retained for legal reasons, e.g. tax invoices, will not be deleted until such time as there is no longer any legal reason to retain the information.
8. Services
Any services that you acquire from JaWiSoft BCD (Pty) Ltd will have its own contractual terms and privacy provisions and these Terms of Use and Privacy will not apply.

These Terms of Use and Privacy is effective from 2 June 2025.
